On 6 February 2019, Federal Bailiff Service of Russia organized a meeting with companies which are included in the State Register of legal entities carrying out activities on repayment of overdue debts as the main activity.
The meeting was attended by representatives of LLC “M. B. A. Finance”. The meeting was devoted to the results of the implementation of the Federal law of 03.07.2016 FZ-230 in 2018.
There were discussed different topics: the practice of law enforcement of the relevant law, implementation of amendments to it, statistics of 2018, the results of inspections of companies included in the Register. Representatives of the professional community expressed worry about the contradictory interpretation of certain norms of the Federal law FZ-230 both on the part of the regulator in the subjects of the Russian Federation and the courts as a whole. The parties of the discussion agreed that there should be organized multilateral meetings and involvement of the regulator of constituent entities of the Russian Federation. Only within the framework of the discussion it is possible to develop a common understanding of the norms of the profile law and establish general rules for the implementation of FZ-230 by market participants.
